Photographing kids is a whole lot of fun… and a bit physically challenging too even for a full-grown man who lifts and goes to the gym on a regular basis. Or it might just be that my age has started to catch up on me (I’m still in that denial stage apparently). The “look at the camera” command does not apply to these smarty pants. This little adorable girl, Cheska, would teasingly look away or cover her eyes when told the opposite. I had to anticipate her moves and be quick to snap to get a perfect shot. With the help of her stage dad, we managed to trick her fortunately into making a few poses. Brandon on the other hand, although equally playful as his older sister (proud to be a Godfather to this boy btw), seemed to have enjoyed the photo shoot but looking confused about what’s happening. I won’t be surprised if I’d see him one day on a magazine or on the billboard as a brand model. Absolutely charming this one.
Big props to their dad for being supportive and acted as their personal assistant during this session. He’d fix their hair, changed their clothes, gave directions and would shout “break!” in between the shoot. The man was on fire!
School holiday is just around the corner and a great time to bring your kids to a photo shoot. Get them in front of my lens here.
