Hailing from Cebu, Philippines, this family arrived in New Zealand just not too long ago. Tomas was my bandmate from a Singapore pop-metal band called Castego and occasionally we’d still jam over the weekends, though lately, to a subtle type of music.

Having the knack for entrepreneurship, the couple sets aside a portion of their free time to prepare and cook a famous local delicacy from Cebu. Now about the photo shoot, we didn’t go too far and settled for Barry Curtis Park, a 90 plus hectare nearby park at Flatbush, Auckland. With the beautiful ground to explore, going around and finding the perfect background for each pose was a breeze. The initial plan was a sunset photoshoot but the light faded out very quickly and we were left with an overcast sky which was a win in my book. That pretty little lass, I referred to her as Miss Unsa, enjoyed the family session too. To her, it was just a normal Sunday afternoon to play with mom and dad. Indeed, this shoot was a walk in the park.
