During the short school holiday, we popped by the Auckland War Memorial Museum for a quick tour. I’ve never been here before and thought it was a good time as well to keep my daughter off her tablet for a while. I got our friends’ kids to tag-along with us so they too can take a rest from those computer games.
The Museum is located at the Auckland Domain and free for all Aucklanders. Just bring along a valid ID showing your address and your good to go. It has three floors that tell the stories of the pacific people, natural history and war history (both civil and world war). We didn’t get the chance to explore everything but it was good to see that these kids had shown interest in this educational trip and had fun at the same time.
